- Scope and ContentWilliam Hills: on 28 November around 4 o'clock, he saw John [?] who said 8 or 9 ploughshares, the property of John Surtees, who been stolen the day before. He was referred to William Brockett and Thomas [?]tick for fuller information. From this additional information he apprehended George Emery. Emery told him he had sold the ploughshare but refused to say to whom and where. He afterwards traced them to the shop of ironmonger Issac Mule of Biggleswade.
