- Scope and ContentHenry Ison Jebbett: had returned the skin and mutton. He had been raised in a butcher’s shop, where he lived for more than 20 years. Thomas Gibson Bewley: he assisted constable Hart in searching the prisoner’s house, where they found the mutton. He took the prisoner into custody. He had been at work on the railway. On the way to St Neots, the prisoner said "the time has come". One of Moran's children was crying behind him, Moran turned and said "there is my boy, poor thing, I care about them poor things more than I do for myself".
