- Scope and ContentHe bought the potatoes from Bandy for 18d a bushel the day before he had them away. It was never mentioned when he was to pay for them and no time was set. He was never employed by Bandy to sell potatoes. There were no writings to the bargain. Only Bandy and himself were in the house at the time. Bandy said teh potatoes were dug up and lay under the hovel. The next morning he went to Bandy, who put the potatoes into two sacks. He wheeled them away.
