refers to Children of the Manor House; writer ill at Christmas, very nearly had second bout of rheumatic fever detailed account of the death in childbirth of her daughter-in-law Winifred Annie on 19 March 1924. Son Offley sold her old house and bought another. writer has ‘radiant heat’ treatment for rheumatism going to have little electric machine made, so car can run down to Church and about the garden.
