Frederica did the sketch of the exterior of the house and Catherine the ground plan. By all accounts England had a bad winter, sledges often used in Streets of London according to Mrs Cornwall. Hope his cough improved Discussed report of earthquake at Catania, near Naples : report apparently without foundation. Village fetes and carnivals round Pau, including one on Ash Wednesday suggests visiting them in Pau.
