- Admin/biog historyNote Sir Frederick Roe (1789-1866), Second Baronet of Brundish, Suffolk was Chief Police Magistrate (at Bow Street, London). In June 1831 he married Mary Knowles of Emsal, Yorkshire (according to Burke’s Peerage 1838 and Debrett 1873) Frederica his godchild was born on 15 April 1838 She was clearly called after Sir Frederick.
