Lord Clive there at Ball, Clives ‘not very civil lately’ Pleased to hear family well “I supposed you have heard of Mr Adam’s disgrace and downfall. They talk of having him struck off the list of attornies for buying his clients’ property and other frauds and I suppose he will be drummed out of the yeomanry for Apperley’s business”.
