- Scope and ContentEmery Cranfield: employed the accused to reap on 6 Aug and allowed him to sleep in his barn. The accused left with his money on 12 Aug. On 13 August he missed 10 fowls. Eliza Margetts: was in the service of Mr Cranfield and one of her duties was to feed the poultry. On the morning of 13 August, she missed 10 of the 14 fowls. Sarah Bosworth: brought the fowls to her on 13 August and asked 4 shillings for them. He told her had won them at bowls in Kempston. She bought them for 3 shillings. Henry Ison Jebbett: was told by the accused that he had bought the fowl from a man between Elstow and Kemspton.
