    Sympathy for Frederica’s lack of health and congenial occupation and companionship. ‘I think that perhaps Hinwick does not agree with you and to be alone nearly all day in that large and empty house must be rather depressing and yet as it is your home I know you must see and feel that it is your duty to live there if possible’. Knows ‘no natural taste for working amongst the poor’. Suggests work in village regularly and in moderation! thank Richard for project of Maud’s to have a Chapel at Hinwick.
