- Scope and ContentWilliam Holloman: he was in Bedford that day until 8pm and on walking back between Bedford and Fenlake, he saw Mr Tilliard with his horse and cart. Ebenezer Lavender: was in Bedford at the auctioneer's cart in the Market place between 4 and 5pm.. He went home between 8 and 9pm, along the Fenlake Road, stopping at the Anchor where he took beer and saw Mr Tilliard.
