About 62 years of age. Born in Whittlebury, County of Northampton. I never let myself for a year till Hockliffe Statute about 10 days before Old Michaelmas 1791, when I was hired by Robert Sear of Sewell in the parish of Houghton Regis, farmer. I went to his service two days after Old Michaelmas and left the day after Old Michaelmas day following and received the whole wages. The following year I let myself to Thomas Cook of the same place, farmer for one year at £4.15.0 wages, I went 2 days after Old Michaelmas 1792 till the day after Old Michaelmas following and received my whole wages. I have never done any act to gain subsequent settlement. About 20 years ago I was married to Sarah Purton at the parish of St Cuthbert, Bedford but have no child.
