Scope and Content
About 30 years of age. Born at Lavendon in the County of Buckingham where his father Edward Watts resided and belonged. His father taught him his trade of shoemaker in Lavendon where this Examinant constantly resided until about 7 years ago. He has not done any act since to gain a settlement in his own right. Last Monday 14 May 1827 he was married at Hitchin, County of Hertfordshire to Mary Tutt.
