- Scope and ContentAbout 46 years of age. Born at Elstow. About 6 weeks before Michaelmas 1800 she let herself to Elizabeth Monday, widow, of Marston Moretaine, victualler, for a year at wages of four guineas and half a crown. Went into such service on Bedford Michaelmas Fair Day and continued there until Michaelmas 1801 when she let herself again to Elizabeth Monday for another year at the wages of six guineas and half a crown. She continued there for about a month after Michaelmas 1801 when some differences arising between her and her mistress they parted. She received the wages of four guineas and the two half crowns. She was never absent or slept out of her mistresses house during the whole 13 months. She has not done any other act to gain a settlement to her knowledge.
