- Scope and ContentSamuel Rooke - he is gamekeeper to Mr Edward Lindsell. On Thursday 31 October at about 6.15pm he was on the watch and saw William Purser in a field of Mr Lindsell's in the parish of Sandy. There were several shocks of wheat stubble lying in the field and he saw him tie up five of them in the cord now produced, put them on his shoulder, and carry them away into an adjoining field. William Purser - is sensible that he did wrong in going into the field. He confesses he tied up the [??]. He never did any such thing before.
