- Scope and ContentJohn Millard: whilst at Station House with bale and Poole, Poole stated that they ought be transported for doing what they had to the girls. Poole said he would tell the truth which was; had had asked bale to write to Monkley in his name, and they had planned the robbery together whilst drinking at Yates. They were to have taken the girls to Yates but could not get them to go, so Poole had had to run to Yates to met with Monkley about the change of plan. On returning with the girls the window was open and things strewn about the room. He had planned to go to London that night but had not left until the following morning. Poole said he would plead guilty at the trial.
