    five months at Dunvegan Castle, had wet summer at the cottage. ‘The climate always tries me’ feel better here (in Sussex) than Skye. both interested in parish work. Norman chairs meetings although past eighty. negotiating to sell large part of Dunvegan estate to the Government for settling soldiers. worried about grandchildren getting a governess at Dunvegan ‘Aunts do their best but are not very suitable’ fond of their Horsham house. got sixteen guineas a week rent for three months. ‘John must inherit much of your genius, and be a very interesting boy.’
