Writer in 89th year – domestic troubles – ‘I have been selling some twenty lots of scattered land and property that had long been a worry to hold and I may hope for a better return of income on some other securities.” looked after by daughter, Rose. ‘My muse is ever at my side urging her plaint and drawing me to my easel where numerous unfinished tasks await my pencil and up to the present I am told I have achieved my best work.’ not forgotten ‘my good friend your husband’s kind friendliness.’
