- Scope and ContentMary Pursell: Monk and Hall came into her husbands shop and asked for half a quartern loaf. She gave it to Hall, who broke it in half and gave half to Monk. They then left without paying despite being asked to pay. As they left the shop Hutchins joined them and they preceded quickly up the street. Thomas Worlsey: on receiving information of the theft, he detained the prisoners on Leighton street, Woburn. They were eating bread at the time.
