- Scope and ContentJohn Inskip: was coming from Blunham to Bedford by wagon and had a horse skin in the back. On arriving in Bedford he missed the skin. John Stevens: was employed by Robert Gresham of Shefford & bought a horse hide from John Pilgrim at Ampthill. He placed it in Mr Gresham's pits. John Pilgrim: he bought the horse hide from John Robinson in his yard at Wootton. He then sold the hide to John Stevens at Ampthill.
