    i) Alfred Shuttleworth, Hartsholme Hall, Lincolnshire, esquire ii) Frank Shuttleworth, Old Warden, late a Major in the 7th Hussars iii) Nathaniel Clayton, Lincoln, esquire by marriage settlement of 3 December 1861 between a) Joseph Shuttleworth, since deceased b) Caroline Jane Ellison c) Alexander Samuel Leslie Melville, said Nathaniel Clayton and Reverend Charles Christopher Ellison, and by certain other deeds made subsequent to such indenture of settlement, b) now Caroline Jane Shuttleworth and widow of a) is entitled to an annuity for life of £1000 charged on Bury House or Goldington House estate a) by will dated 4 December 1861 devised all real estate to use of sons i) and ii) as tenants in common. Sons appointed executors a) made codicil to his will dated 24 January 1883. He confirmed above settlement and gave wife additional £500 so long as she remained his widow. Also he gave her his mansion House at Heighington, Lincolnshire, so long as she remained his widow. iii) appointed additional executor a) died on 25 January 1883. Will and codicil proved on 8 May 1883 (PCC) now i) and ii) have agreed to make partition of property and to pay annuity to b) in equal shares now i) and ii) grant to iii) to hold to certain uses - property in 1st and 2nd schedules property in 1st schedule shall b for use of i) for ever subject to interest of Caroline Jane Shuttleworth as to the mansion house at Heighington property in 2nd schedule to use of ii) for ever covenants to pay annuity jointly and equally with schedules 1st schedule approximately 750 acres in Heighington and Wasingborough, Boultham and Skellingthorpe, in Lincolnshire 2nd schedule - Bury House, etc. (conveyed by Dame Florence Anna Maria Powers etc.) - 7 cottages etc.(conveyed by Jabez Paine, John Walker and Joel Aguttar) - dwelling house etc. (conveyed by Thomas Hull) - “The Crown” beerhouse, blacksmith’s shop, 8 cottages Etc. and Felts Close etc. (conveyed by Ebenezer Burr, George Reynolds, John Allen and Elizabeth Reynolds) all in Goldington (total 635 acres 5 perches) - Manor or Lordship of Southill and Stanford etc. Manor of Hill etc. in Old Warden, Southill, Northill, Hill, and Broom (conveyed by Robert Henley, Lord Ongley) - former Hill Lane tollhouse etc. (conveyed by Archdale and Lindsell) - farmhouse etc. (conveyed by Lord Ongley) - land, 10 tenements etc. ( Henry Morgan Vale and the trustees of the Warden Charity Estate) - meadow and pasture (conveyed by Henry Henthaw) - house, homestead, 2 cottages etc. (conveyed by Samuel Whitbread and Charles James Conway [Mills] - several messuages, cottages and lands etc. (conveyed by Lindsell and Archdale) - Vicarage Farm and Oak Farm (conveyed by the Reverend Francis Bourdillon, Ecclesiastical Commissioners and Samuel Whitbread) - piece land (conveyed by Lindsell and Archdale) all in Broome, Hill, Southill, Northill, Holme and Old Warden (2712 acres 34 perches) approximate measurements of acreage signatures both no witnesses
