- Scope and ContentAbout 12pm on 30 October he saw 2 ewe sheep in a meadow at Sundon occupied by John Fenn. Fenn told him they belonged to Brown. About 3pm Thomas Gortelow came to his house with Brown - they all went to Upper Sundon together and the sheep were in the stable. He went for the key, and gave the sheep and Brown into the charge of James Jackson the constable. Brown claimed to have bought the sheep from a drover on the Hockliffe Road.
