Scope and Content
About 21 years of age. Born in St Paul, Bedford. When he was about 14 he was placed out apprentice by the Harpur Charity by Indenture dated 18 Feb 1818 for seven years to Robert Shelton of St Paul, Bedford, carver and gilder. He served the whole of his apprenticeship and has not done any other act to gain a settlement. On 25 July 1825 was married at St Paul, Bedford to Mary Stock.
