About 28 years of age born in Eversholt. On 6 June 1815 he was placed out apprentice by the Churchwardens and Overseers of Cranfield to John Cleely of Woburn, glover and breeches maker by Indenture (now produced) by the name if Isaac Stapleton - though his real name is John Stapleton - until he attained the age of 21 years. he served his time at Woburn. He was married this 28th day of December 1824 ar St Paul to Elizabeth White.
