Scope and Content
About 22 years of age. Born in St Paul, Bedford where his fatehr resided and belonged. When he was about 14 he was placed out apprentice by the Harpur Charity by Indenture for seven years to William Wells of Tempsford, blacksmith. He served about six months with his Master at Tempsford when his Master using him ill he quitted his service and never returned. Has ever since lived in Bedford and was today married at St Paul to Ann Stokes.
