- Scope and ContentAbout 32 years of age. Born at Great Staughton, County of Huntingdon, where his father then resided and belonged. About Michaelmas 1805 let himself to Isaac Arnold, of St Neots, Huntingdon, baker for a year to clean horses, assist in the bakehouse and other general work at the wages of three pounds. He continued until Michaelmas 1807 without ever quitting and received three pounds ten shillings for his first years wages and five pounds for the last. Has been 7 years in the 63rd Regiment of Foot as a soldier and has worked as a journeyman baker at Great Staughton and Bedford. Married on 16 March 1819 at Leighton Stone, County of Huntingdon to Elizabeth Steward but has not any living child by her.
