recalls that after their first interview with Mr and Miss Bowen they had both agreed ‘you were very nice people’. Miss Bowen and her sister off on a long tour.
NB. The recipient of this letter was probably Winifred Ada Bowen, the daughter of Sir Albert Edward Bowen of Colworth House, Sharnbrook. She married General Sir Alexander Cobbe VC GCB KCSI DSO on 1 October 1910.
