- Scope and ContentReceived information that several items of clothing, silver spoons and other property of Mr Larney of Shefford were stolen in December, supposedly by Harriet Finch, wife of William Finch of Stamford, labourer, who brought the stolen property to Stamford where she pawned or otherwise disposed of it. He made inquiries and has good cause to suspect that she did commit the felony and pawned some of the articles at the shop of James Alton, pawnbroker, and sold the rest much under value.
