    Her son Thomas always comes wanting money from her. A month ago he wanted £35 to go into the plait trade - she would only let him have £15 but he would not take it. Yesterday he came and asked her to come to his house - she refused because of his prior conduct - he was very violent and seemed desperate. He said if he did not have the money he would kill her or himself.
