Scope and Content
About 30 years of age, born in Berry Pomeroy, Devon. His father belonged to that parish. At 15 years of age he was placed out apprentice by Indenture (which he has lost) till he was 21 to William Sweet, Newton Abbot, Devon, sadler. He lived with his Master at Newton Abbot till within about 3 months of the expiration of his apprenticeship when they parted by agreement. He has since worked as a journeyman saddler at Bedford and other places. Was married last Monday at St Paul, Bedford to Sarah Farnell.
