Wife of Robert Belgrove of Heath and Reach where they keep a Public House. Prisoner came to their house on 18 February which was a very snowy morning, between 7 and 8am. He had a carpet bag and a parcel with him. He took several sorts of silk and some silk handkerchiefs out of his carpet bag and offered them to her for sale. She bought a pair of stocking from him (now produced) for 2s. Some of the silks were not on rollers, but were folded up . Some were figured and some plain. Two pieces of silk were on rollers. He took them off the rollers in her presence, folded the silks and put them in the bag. He was going to put one of the roller's in the fire but her husband stopped him, saying they would make good rollers for round towels. A day or two later Wood and Mr Webb came to her house. She showed them the rollers, and Wood took them away. The prisoner left between 2 and 3pm towards Leighton.
