The black stock and cap produced were given to him by Mr Rogers a few days after the first robbery. The stock was tied in a particular manner. He doesn't know how it became untied - he took it to London with him and it has been handled by the police officers. The rollers produced by Ephraim Wood were given by Mrs Belgrove in his presence - he marked them himself at the time.
