About 22 years of age. Born in Caldecote, Northill but his father belonged to Beeston. When he was about 2 years old his father went to reside at Beeston and has done so ever since. About 9 years ago this Examinant let himself to Mr Robert Ayres of Beeston, farmer by the year to work in husbandry and has worked with him ever since. He was married on 28 Jan 1819 at St Mary, Bedford to Ann Burton.
