Scope and Content
About 11 years ago was apprenticed to Messrs Beaumont of Bishops Sutton, Hampshire, coach makers for seven years. He served about four and a half years when his Master died and he worked as a journeyman on his own account. At Lady Day 1817 he rented a house and coach makers shop from Henry Lock at All Saints, Southampton at 100 guineas a year which he has ever since occupied. Yesterday married Mary Ann Berrill at St Mary in Bedford.
