Request for filiation order - parish of Eaton Socon vs. John Mattin

Churchwardens and overseers of the poor of Eaton Socon requested a filiation order against John Mattin of Buckden (Hunts) in respect of a female bastard child born to Susan Stamford on 29 June 1835 which had become chargeable to the parish. Produced an agreement by John Mattin to abide by any order made by the court. Filiation order made and John Mattin to pay 1s 6d maintenance weekly until the child reached age 7.
