Depositions of George Edward Parker, retailer of beer of Luton and Henry Swakes, police constable of Watford, in the case of William Butler accused of stealing a pair of leather boots

George Edward Parker: William Butler was in his employ for 3/4 days. On the fifth day he left early, and Parker discovered a great coat and pair of boots to be missing. Henry Swakes, police constable: detained Swakes in Watford and recovered the boots.
