  • Scope and Content
William Frazer - told the master he was going to take the bread to Emma Hedge, but should not do so if she hadn't asked him. She had half the money and he had half - she would weigh the things he took and give her half the value. She said she would take anything he liked to bring her. Samuel Hedge - says he was at home when Bill Frazer came to fetch him. He went with Frazer to Mr Bannister's shop. Frazer asked if he would take a loaf and he said he didn't mind taking one. Frazer went to Mr Hersford's back gate but couldn't open it for a long while. When he did, Hedge went through and Frazer told him to stop there. Frazer fetched a loaf and gave it to him. As he was leaving Frazer said "stop" and gave him more. Frazer said to take them to the front and stay until he came. As Hedge was leaving Mr Pratt came and said he must go back.
