i) James Bennett ii) William Best, Goldington, farmer iii) Samuel Reynolds, Goldington, victualler iv) John Reynolds, Henlow, farmer principal sum in mortgage of 2 March 1831 [SL1/381] is still owing consideration - £340 (out of which said £200 mortgage money will be paid to ii) - cottages and blacksmith’s shop, carpenter’s shop, and brewhouse lately built by i) on piece of adjoining land in Goldington, now occupied by iii), i) and James Dover, and adjoining land, which form W. half part of piece of pasture, which said 2 messuages have been lately built on part of site on which a messuage afterwards divided into 2 formerly stood signatures i) and ii), mark of iii) endorsed receipt
