Rudge - Goldington Bury house and gardens and small farmery (leased to Charles William Talbot-Ponsonby, esquire, for 10 years from 29 September 1869 at £225 per annum) - farm etc. to N.of the Bury (308 acres 1 rood 37 perches) held by executors of Ulysses Paine (leased for 8 years from 29 September 1869 at £767 8s 6d per annum) - farm to S. of Goldington village (237 acres 1 rood 37 perches) (leased to Mr.John White for 8 years from 29 September 1869 at £669 10s per annum) - productive arable lands and farm buildings on Bedford – St.Neot’s road (34 acres 1 rood 28 perches) (leased by executors of Mr.T.Sergeant for 8 years from 29 September 1869 at £120 15s per annum) - arable land (15 acres 3 roods 5 perches) (let to Samuel Reynolds for 8 years from 29 September 1869 at £48 per annum) - numerous cottages in Goldington [described] (1 acre 2 roods 22¾ perches) at £88 8s gross rent - ground rent of £4 secured upon a residence in occupation of Joel Agutter, with reversion in Midsummer 1968 - perpetual rent charge of £11 per annum issuing out of an allotment for the labouring poor (5 acres) - E. portion of village green being property of the vendors (subject to obligation of preserving surface in good condition and permitting it to be used as a recreation ground) is included in the sale [Note: for plan and information re sale of the Goldington estate to Joseph Shuttleworth on 10 November 1875 see ST830 -833]
