    “Notes & memorandum touching my wive’s Jointure at Bedford” Becketts farme - repair the great barne - q about the Comon sans number Suit now depending - q about 20s per anm to ye parson of St Johns - Mr Sendall ab[out] trees cleard, with logging & cutting of the lopps - Mr Cobb sould the entering on the Meadow &v the ten[an]t requires the like at going off - Mr Beckett paid me £40 - the tith of this farme is pd to St Maries in Bedford - to the churche & poore is paid to St Johns The tenants are to leave the land at Mich[aelmas] but the fallow and sheep common at Lady day; but pay the full halfe years Renhold tat Mich: but where the tenant was not bought the entring on the meadow, he is to leave the meadow, as well as ye fallow at Lady day Streats farme - a Cottage to repair; - a Smiths shop to repair - the farme house to repair - a lease of Brazen now Colledge of a house & too acres of Land, £30 per ann, & £20 for repairs - to purchase the lord of the Manors land - John Streat paid me £10 and will retorne the remainder a week after Michl to my chamber at London: he is to sett off xxs. [20 shillings] for the Subsidy to Carrington [Cardington], & same for for Elstow p[ar]ish; & quere of Mr Cobb who is to pay the bridge Money for repair of County Bridges: he will retorne it to me by Hodge a butcher of Hitchin who Innes at the windmill in St Johns Street or by Wm Tayler a drover who lives at Golington neer Bedford. - Mr. Cobb sould the entring on the Meadow & the tennt requires the like at going off - q of Mr Cobb about the tith of 8 acres & a halfe of Fenlake Meadow, which Geo Blundell hath recorded - q a house & good barnes & 28 acres of field land & a close of pasture of 3 acres & 1 acre & a halfe of Meadow, lett at £15 it is Mr Stangars a Brewers clerke: there is wood on it - the Bedford Carrier Innes at the redd lion in Aldersgate Streete
