    Release Parties: (i) William Campion of Combwell, Goudhurst [Kent], esquire; Edward Campion the elder Itchingham [Sussex], gentleman; Edward Campion the younger of Combwell, gentleman, brother of William Campion; (ii) John Cobb of Sharnbrook, gentleman; Pauli Cobb of Oakley, gentleman Reciting: - Sir Henry Campion had by R6/5/4/7 and “several other good conveyance” had conveyed (a)-(h) to uses: Saint Leonard’s and half his other property after the death of him and his wife to Henry Campion, gentleman, brother of Sir William Campion of Combwell and his heirs and, in default of such issue to Edward, brother of Sir William Campion and Edward, son of Sir William Campion; the other half of his estates, except Saint Leonard’s to William, son of Sir William Campion; - Sir Henry Campion and Henry Campion were both dead without heirs; - (i) had, by common recoveries and conveyances docked and barred the entail of Sir Henry Campion’s estate and declared half the estate owned by William Campion, a quarter by Edward the elder and a quarter by Edward the younger Operative Part: - (ii) paid £1,400 to William Campion and £700 each to Edward Campion the elder and Edward Campion the younger; - (i) conveyed (a)-(h) to (ii) Property: (a) capital messuage commonly called Saint Leonard’s, Bedford; (b) lands in Bedford, Saint John, Cardington and Kempston formerly in the occupation of Lewes Harding, gentleman; (c) lands in Cardington and Elstow formerly in the occupation of John White; (d) lands in Cardington formerly in the occupation of Widow Crump; (e) arable and pasture in Bedford, Saint Peter de Merton, Saint Paul and Saint Cuthbert formerly in the occupation of Richard Taylour, sergeant-at-law, then William Faldoe, gentleman; (f) cottage in Cardington formerly in the occupation of John Knott; (g) lands in Budham [Biddenham] formerly in the occupation of Widow Newton; (h) lands in Sandy formerly in the occupation of Joseph Steven Witnesses: - John Gardiner; - Ralph Jones; - James Watkins; - Andrew Haiker
