    Deed poll by Sir Henry Campion of Goudhurst [Kent] Reciting: - indenture of 30th May 1643 between (1) Sir Henry Campion and (2) Robert Griffith of Lincolns Inn [Middlesex], gentleman and Edward Miller, citizen and skinner of London in which (a) Saint Leonard’s Hospital and its lands and hereditaments in Bedford, Saint John, Cardington and Kempston in the occupation of Roger Harding, gentleman, (b) lands in Cardington and Elstow in the occupation of John White, (c) lands in Cardington into Widow Crumpe, (d) lands in Bedford, Saint Peter de Merton, Bedford, Saint Paul and Bedford, Saint Cuthbert formerly in the occupation of Richard Taylor, sergeant at law, then of William Faldoe, gentleman (e) a cottage at Fenlake, Cardington, in the occupation of John Knott, (f) land in Biddenham [?] in the occupation of Widow Newton were vested in (2) as trustees with a proviso for (1) to change the uses; - indenture of 30th May 1643 between (1) Sir Henry Campion and (2) Robert Griffith of Lincolns Inn [Middlesex], gentleman and Edward Miller, citizen and skinner of London in which lands in Newgate, London Christchurch were granted with the same proviso; - indenture of 10th July 1647 between (1) Sir Henry Campion and (2) Robert Griffith of (e)-(f) above with the same proviso Operative Part: - Sir Henry Campion revoked the indentures of 30th May 1643 and 10th July 1647 except the reversions to the use of his wife Dame Ann for her life Witnesses: - John Mennes; - R.
