    “An Act for Establishing and rendering Effectual several Settlements and Agreements made and entered into By Hugh Barker the younger, esquire, deceased, for making a Provision for his Mother and Wife, and their Children, respectively…” - messuage in Westcotts, otherwise West-Cotton, in Wilshamstead, in occupation of Richard Bedcott - pasture on which said messuage stood, called Kincks, divided into 2 - 2 pieces pasture, used with above (total 20 acres) - Callowells Close, Wilstead - arable in Mumberry side Field in Westcotts, in occupation of Richard Bedcott, usually held with said messuage - tithes and tenths of corn and grain in Westcotts and Makuless, or Makes, Wilstead - moiety of farm in Goldington, in occupation of widow Wagstaff, then held in trust for John Peck - all lands etc. formerly of John Haselden in Goldington, then in trust for John Peck all which premises were, at his death, the property of Hugh Barker, senior, of London, merchant, now by this Act held by trustees to sell, for the benefit of John Bate and wife Catherine, and Diana Barker for themselves and their respective children who are infants 27 George II, cap.33
