Mortgage Parties: (i) Levi Giles of Aspley Heath, labourer; (ii) John Thomas Green of Woburn, gentleman Operative Part: - (i) borrowed £50 from (ii) at 5% interest secured on (a)-(b) Property: (a) a plot of land on Aspley Heath adjoining the road from Little Brickhill to Aspley Guise purchased from William Perry on 2nd June 1862; (b) a plot of land of 34 poles on the E side of (a); (c) a plot of land of 20 poles adjoining the road from Little Brickhill to Aspley Guise bounded NE and SE by a cartway; SW by land of William Clarke and John Bosworth with a cottage thereon in the occupation of (i) Witness: - Ebenezer Clarke of Aspley Guise Levi Giles signed by mark. Endorsed assignment of mortgage of 30 August 1882 from (1) John Thomas Green and (2) Levi Giles to (3) Joseph George Fisher of Aspley Guise, gentleman; witnessed by William Samuel Smith, clerk to John Thomas Green Endorsed memorandum: “A Plot of ground containing 86 poles or thereabouts being the two pieces of land firstly and secondly described in the within written Indenture was conveyed by Indenture date the twenty seventh day of February 1901 to Alfred Allnutt of Aspley Heath in the County of Bedford, gentleman and the within written Indenture and the Transfer endorsed thereon were undertaken to be produced to him”.
