    i) Robert Henley, Lord Ongley ii) Reverend Thomas Dale, Residentiary House, St.Paul’s, London, clerk, Canon Residentiary of St.Paul’s Cathedral Joseph Henry Green, Hadley, Middlesex, esquire Gerard Wolfe Lydekker, Harpenden Lodge, St.Albans, Hertfordshire, esquire Kenneth Macauley, Paper Buildings, Temple, London, Q.C and M.P. Right Honourable John Robert Mowbray, Mortimer near Reading, Berkshire, M.P. George Henry Pinckard, Grove Road, St.John’s Wood, esquire (trustees under the Clerical, Medical and General Life Assurance Society’s Act 1850) whereas: i) has requested ii) to lend him £16,000 out of monies held by them as trustees, at 5% per annum upon having repayment secured upon his property now, in consideration of £16,000, i) assigns to ii) - property as in SL 1/46 and 47 interest payable on 9 April and 9 October with schedule of property. Total rents now £3,898 6s 5d signatures i) and ii) endorsed witnesses David Dean Montagu Turner 9 October 1861 endorsed with Re-conveyance i) George Cutcliffe, St.James’s Square, Middlesex, esquire (present actuary of the Clerical, Medical and General Life Assurance Society) ii) Patrick Black, Queen Anne Street, Cavendish Square, Middlesex, Doctor of Medicine Gerard Wolfe Lydekker Reverend John Edward Kempe, Rectory House, St.James’s, Middlesex, clerk (3 of the directors of the said Society) iii) Lord Ongley whereas: by 27th section of the Clerical, Medical and General Life Assurance Act, 1850, it is lawful for actuary and 3 directors to re-convey mortgaged property etc. : debt of £16,000 is now due, all interest having been paid : iii) is desirous of paying off said mortgage now, for consideration of £16,000, i) re-conveys to iii) - property as SL 1/46 and 47 signatures i) and ii) receipt witness Harcourt Turner 18 September 1872
