    i) John Edward Bodger, Cardington, farmer ii) Richard Bodger, junior, Southill John Bodger, Southill, brother of Richard recites: SL 1/38 and 39 whereas: power and direction and appointment so given have not been exercised but i) has lately contracted with ii) to sell premises to them for £149 10s and ii) have requested a conveyance in present form i) now appoints - piece arable at Broom (1 acre 1 rood 20 perches) being part of field containing 7 acres 2 roods 9 perches called Old Farm N.E. and S.W. other parts of said field S.or S.E public road N. or N.W. John Barber, gentleman same piece being now and for many years past in occupation of George Dilley shall from henceforth remain and be to such uses, trusts etc. as Richard in respect of one moiety and John in respect of other, shall appoint. In default of appointment by Richard his moiety shall be for the use of him and heirs and the same for John i) grants to ii) the aforesaid indentures and all his interest etc. in said hereditaments and absolute inheritance as far as same is not comprised in powers herein before made etc. to hold to ii) as tenants in common.
