    i) Lord Ongley ii) John Edward Bodger, Cardington, farmer iii) Robert Lindsell, Biggleswade, gentleman whereas: i) being seized in fee simple of hereinafter mentioned property did on 5 Nov 1828 (together with other hereditaments ) put them up for sale by auction at Sun Inn, Biggleswade, at which sale ii) was highest bidder, for £145, and ii) has requested that same may be conveyed to uses etc. as hereinafter etc. i) releases to ii) - land in Broom, Southill, (1 acre 1 rood 20 perches) being part of a certain field containing 7 acres 2 roods 9 perches called Old Farm N.E. and S.W. other parts of said field S. or S.E. public road N. or N.W. John Barber, esquire formerly in occupation of John Barber, gentleman, and now and for many years past in occupation of George Dilley and heretofore the estate of Lord Ongley, father of i) and is part of lands devised to Lord Ongley, deceased, by will of Sir Samuel Ongley, knight, deceased To ii) to uses, trusts etc. as he shall appoint and in default of such appointment to use of ii) for life and after determination of that estate during his lifetime to use of iii) in trust for ii) land exonerated from yearly rent charge of £1200 granted to Frances, Lady Ongley, for life granted by indenture of 30 Aug 1824 [SL 1/31] covenant to produce title deeds (as in schedule) 12 and 13 Feb 1829 schedule of deeds lease and release of 8 and 9 Nov 1792 lease and release of 19 and 20 Jul 1805 will of 24 March 1802 indenture of 10 Jul 1824 indenture of 30 Aug 1824 lease and release of 1 and 2 Nov 1824 recovery of Michaelmas 33 George III recovery of Michaelmas 5 George IV endorsed receipt witness George Austin
