    i) George Maxwell, Spalding, Lincolnshire, gentleman Thomas Thorpe, Great Barford, gentleman Edward Platt, Lidlington, gentleman [another copy held at W 2584] ii) Lord Ongley iii) Samuel Whitbread, Southill, Esquire, recites: enclosure act (under which George Maxwell and Edward Platt, with James Ellis since deceased. were appointed commissioners) of Southill :Amendment act of 39 George III rendering more effectual the power of exchange in the enclosure act : Appointment of Thomas Thorpe as commissioner in place of James Ellis i) declare the following exchanges between ii) and iii) From ii) to iii) - such part of the Manor of Stamford otherwise Stamford Bury as lies W. of a line commencing N.E. corner of close called the Pastures, part of Stamford Bury Farm and extending nearly in southerly direction along E. boundary of said farm to S.E. corner of close called Bottom Pasture and from there in same direction across an allotment awarded by i) to ii) and exchanged by him to iii) into public road leading from Stanford to Shefford and N. of another line turning these South-westerly along south side of same road until it enters hamlet of Shefford near Shefford bridge From iii) to ii) - Manor of Hill in Old Warden signed all witnesses I.
