    Sir, We now have pleasure to send the account to cover the arrangements we have made on behalf of Lady Janes and yourself for your visit to Madeira followed by a Cruise in the "OLYMPIA". Please let us have your remittance in the near future and when replying please return your Cruise deposit receipt to us. Kindly confirm that your passports bear the endorsement "valid for all foreign countries". There are no other passport or visa formalities as all visas required for the journey will be obtained by the Steamship Company in the form of block visa. We should be grateful, however, if you would send us two passport size photographs, each, which will be required to obtain the block visa for the U.S.S.R. Vaccination against smallpox is the only essential helath [sic] requirement for the journey. Kindly confirm that you both hold valid international certificates of vaccination issued within the last three years. These certificates must bear the signature of the Doctor, who has vaccinated you and his signature must have been authenticated by the local health authorities by means of their rubber stamp mark, endorsed on the certificates. With regard to expenses on board. Currency to be used on board the "ARKADIA" will be sterling. Passengers travelling from the United Kingdom are now permitted to take out of the country up to £50.0.0. each in Britsh currency notes and any amount they wish over this amount in the form of sterling Travellers' Cheques. On board the "ARKADIA" U.S. dollars will be used. We understand that you are going to apply for your Traveller's Cheques and currency through your Bank. We shall, however, be pleased to obtain Travellers' Cheques and currency for you if you wish and are enclosing Travellers' Cheque Order Forms. If our assistance is required please complete these documents and return them to us together with your remittance and your passports. We would particularly draw your attention to the commission charges shown on the reverse side of the order form. We shall be pleased to issue you with rail tickets for the Boat Train journey from London to Southampton. The first-class fare is £1.15.0. each and there is an additional charge if you require Pullman seats. Insurance of the journey is strongly recommended and details of the various insurances which can be effected are enclosed. if insurance is required, please complete and return the appropriate proposal form and add your remittance to our account. Very shortly now, we will send you details of the shore excursions to be had for the "OLYMPIA" Cruise and these must be booked on board.
