File includes a report of a meeting of the Management Committee regarding the reopening of the club, with the intention of reviving the 144 Club which would meet in a wooden hut and could be rented from the London Brick Company. Other correspondence includes changes in leader, the Management Committee describing a recovery from “the disastrous experience” of employing one particular Youth Club Leader. In the same report by the Committee the young people in Stewartby are referred to as “particularly lethargic and resistant to organisations”. File contains later correspondence from London Brick Social and Sports Association Management Committee discussing the possibility of running a Youth Club within their Club.
