- Scope and ContentIf they are spared they shall be glad to see him. Mrs Field's niece, Harriet Foster, married to Edwin James some years ago and went out to America and died 18 months ago. Bank of England has informed them that she bought £25 in new 3% annuities on joint names of Mr Charles Greenwood and Mrs Field. Has been transferred to the National Debt Office and some forms are necessary before it can be transferred to Mr James and children. None of the family can remember anything. Wonders if Uncle Decene advised her, so would he [Philip Dickerson] look over 'our late friend's papers and see if it [Bank Stock receipt] is amongst them'
